Sunday Afternoon

Well, all of my final four teams are gone. A bunch of us had brackets over at Yahoo fantasy. Nichole and I are both getting beat by a coin flip team. The administrator just flipped a coin and then picked the higher seed or the lower seed. Thanfully, fantasy football is around the corner.
Today Nichole left for Las Vegas and is going to be down there for a week. She is at a military conference. Another woman from our church, who travels for work, is also going to be there this week. They are flying back on the same flight. On Wednesday I am going to San Francisco, for a mission trip previsit.
This morning, John Golling spoke about us being like missionaries. When people on South Hill are asked about "Christians" the characteristics that come to mind should be love and compassion, not just the things we are against.
This is a great article by Donald Miller that is related to this theme.
